Self-drying tackle box with indicating silica gel in the lid
129,00 krA tackle box that keeps itself dry. The lid holds a chamber of indicating silica gel behind a sliding grille. Open the grille and the gel pulls the moisture out of wet lures, hooks and flies, so they do not rust while the box sits closed.
The beads are orange while they are dry and turn green when they are saturated, so the box tells you when the pouches need swapping or drying. The box itself is airtight and watertight, and it floats with gear inside.

Recharge & care
Take the pouches out and dry them in the oven at roughly 120 °C for 2 to 3 hours, until the beads are orange again. Let them cool completely before they go back into the lid.
Wipe the box with a damp cloth. Avoid solvents. If the gear goes in wet, leave the sliding grille open so the moisture can reach the pouches.
